Acne problem is everybody's problem. To prevent and treat acne, skin care plays an important role.
Some herbal ingredients is quite a lot that can be useful for treating skin to prevent and treat acne.
Herbal ingredients have been studied to function as an anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, reduces the activity of oil glands and accelerate the healing of acne scars, among others:
1. Turmeric. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin had shown anti-inflammatory activity, anti-oxidant and accelerate wound healing due to the rupture of acne.
2. Mangosteen. The skin of the mangosteen fruit contains many active ingredients that can function as an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-oxidants.
3. Papaya.
Papaya contains the enzyme papain which removes dead skin cells. Papaya fruit flesh mask treatment can reduce acne, and improve rough skin.
4. Ginger.
The active ingredient in turmeric has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial.
5. Tea Tree.
Tea tree leaf oil has anti-bacterial effect. Several studies have shown the effect of a special anti-bacterial specific cause acne. The dose that can be used is 5-15% solution, 2 times a day.
Many herbal ingredients that could be expected to play a role in skin care, but still requires further research. For that, make sure you are careful in the use of skin care products.
Good skin care and diligence will support the prevention and treatment of acne. Perform reasonable care, not too much because it can cause skin irritation and even aggravate acne. Consult your doctor if you are unsure of your skin care options.
