Indonesian Transport Minister MR. Ignatius Jonan provide an explanation of the crash AirAsia QZ8501 in Karimata Strait, the waters near Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan, on December 28, 2014 last.
According Jonan, as quoted by AFP, the plane was trying to increase the height of a relatively high speed, which exceeds the normal speed.
"At the last minute, the plane ride at speeds above normal," said Jonan, in Jakarta, Tuesday (20/01/2015), citing radar data.
"The aircraft then climbed to the upper limit of normal speed capabilities of the aircraft, and then experienced a stall (standstill)," said Jonan.
Earlier, the joint search and rescue team led by the National Search and Rescue Agency has found the plane's black box AirAsia in depth Karimata Strait. The black box containing the flight data recorder (flight data recorder) and the cockpit voice recorder (cockpit voice recorder) which will be used to investigate the cause of the crash.
Currently, the black box is still in the National Transportation Safety Committee which still download the initial data. According to the head Tatang Kurniadi NTSC, officers took a long time to download the initial data.
Until now, the joint search and rescue teams have found 53 bodies of AirAsia plane QZ8501. AirAsia plane was carrying 162 people, including passengers and crew departing from Juanda Airport, Surabaya, with the aim of Changi Airport, Singapore.
