American Sniper successfully shifted Tak3n of the box office with profit USD 90,2 million, since it was released last week. The film is also referred to as the film with the biggest debut in January, beating Avatar which reached USD68 million, in January 2010.
American Sniper become Eastwood movie that won big revenue when the newly released. The film is also included in the next six categories Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and Best Actor for Bradley Cooper.
The second position is occupied by The Wedding Ringer with USD21 million profit. While the third is Paddington which gets USD 19,3 million.
Last week's box office champion, Tak3n slipped to number four with income USD14,1 million, and Selma the top five to win USD 8,3 million.
